Motorola Moto G vs Motorola RAZR i – Top Specs and Price Comparison

Design and Display 

Moto G shows a 4,5-inch IPS LCD capacitive smart screen that is rendering a better resolution of 720x1280pixels. RAZR i has a 4,3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive smart screen that renders poorly a resolution of 540x960pixels.

Motorola Moto G is heavier at 143grams and 129,9×65,9×11,6mm dimensions while RAZR i is 126grams at the dimensions of 122,5×60,9×8,3mm.

Operating System and Hardware 

Motorola Moto G is dotted with a 1,2GHz quad core processor and Qualcomm named MSM8226 Snapdragon 400 chipset. Its internal memory comes in two versions: 8GB and 16GB and no possibility of enhancement. RAZR i is tooled up with a 2GHz Intel Atom processor and Intel Atom Z2460 chipset. Its memory is only of 8GB but it can be extended to another 32GB with a MicroSD card.

Motorola Moto G works on Android Jelly Bean operating system that can be improved with the KitKat variant. RAZR i is running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system that can also be updated with the Jelly Bean variant. Moto G and RAZR i use only 1GB RAM.


Moto G’s main camera is weaker at only 5MP with auto-focus and LED-flash. Its second camera has 1,3MP. RAZR i has a stronger, 8MP, main camera with same features as Moto G device but its second camera is the VGA kind.


Moto G is powered up by a non-removable Li-Ion 2.070mAh battery that resists to 27 hours of talking while RAZR i device gets its power from a non-removable Li-Ion 2.000mAh battery that resists to only 20hours of talking.


Moto G has a starting price of 179,99 dollars whereas RAZR i can be found at 185 dollars.
