Minecraft DLC Update – PS4 Edition 36 Times Larger

Now, that the E3 ended, gamers can’t wait for Minecraft to release the new-generation consoles.

IBTimes website said in a report that Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition would be “bigger”, but it will stay as friendly as it was on the previous Minecraft: PlayStation 3.

Owen Hill, the chief word office of Mojang, the company that developed this awesome game, told us about the new features of the upcoming version and he mentioned that we will have 36 times bigger worlds in it.

Hill re-confirmed this on the PlayStation blog, adding that the gamers, who already play Minecraft on the PlayStation 3, will have the option to save their worlds and import them to the new version. We’re very sure that this news pleased the Minecraft players.

4J Studious, the developer who brought Minecraft to Microsoft and Sony, worked on the new PS4 edition, and they made possible for the owners of the PS4 console to be able to use its DualShock 4 controller while playing Minecraft.

Hill also added that a Sony-specific DLC will come to the new version. The new version will also support up to eight-players online, and four of them can share the same screen, using PS4 console split-screen features.

Microsoft has shared some screenshots of Minecraft: Xbox One Edition at this year’s E3. They also said that a new Skin Pack 6 will come on the new Xbox One version, but it will be added on the Xbox 360 version also. They added that the “Killer Instinct” skins will come exclusively for Xbox.

Minecraft will be released for the next-generation consoles on August 2014.
