Lenovo ThinkPad vs Macbook Pro 13 – Specs and Price Comparison

If you’re a business person looking for a cheap tablet that was released three years ago, but which has some cool applications on it, then you should buy the Lenovo ThinkPad. But we’re warning you: this tablet has a short battery life, and some of its apps are crashing and refuse to respond. But if you’re willing to spend a lot of money on a tablet that comes with a backlit keyboard (12 keys) and two variants of Intel processors, then Macbook Pro 13 is the right device for you. We’ll compare both of them to see which one is worth buying.

Displays and designs

While the Lenovo ThinkPad comes with a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display that supports a resolution of 800×1280 pixels, the Macbook Pro 13’s screen is a lot bigger, as its names says, and it’s of 13.3-inches, and it’s a LED backlit screen that has keyboard for input. Its resolution is of 1280×800 pixels.

The Lenovo ThinkPad is powered by a dual core processor clocked at 1 GHz and also has an Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset. This device comes in 3 options of internal storage: 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. The Macbook Pro 13 has a more advanced processor – a dual core Intel core i5 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz, but there is another variant with an Intel i7 processor clocked at 2.9 GHz.

The Lenovo ThinkPad is an Android tablet that runs on the runs on the Honeycomb version, which is upgradeable to the Ice Cream Sandwich version. This tablet has only 1 GB of RAM, while the Macbook Pro 13 has 4 GB of RAM and it runs on the X Mountain Lion OS.

Cameras

The Lenovo ThinkPad has two cameras: a 5 MP camera in the back and a 2 MP camera in the front. The Macbook Pro 13 takes great photos with its only 720p FaceTime HD camera.

The Macbook Pro 13 with the i5 processor costs on amazon.com 1,185 dollars, while the i7 processor variant costs 1,425 dollars. The Lenovo ThinkPad 16 GB variant costs less than 215 dollars.
