The winner of this category is definitely the Xperia Z with its 5inches TFT screen that renders a resolution of 1080x1920pixels. The iPhone 5C might be a fancy phone, but its 4inches LED-backlit IPS LCD screen doesn’t come up to our expectations with the 640x1136pixels resolution.
The Xperia Z is bigger, measuring 139x71x7.9mm and it’s also heavier, weighting 146grams. The dimensions of the iPhone 5C are: 124.4×59.2x9mm, being 14grams lighter.
Hardware and OS
The Xperia Z is powered by a 1.5GHz quad core krait processor which teams up with the Qualcomm MDM9215M/APQ8064 chipset. The internal memory is of 16GB and it’s expandable up to 64GB.
The iPhone 5C is powered by a 1.3GHz dual core swift processor and has Apple’s A6 chipset. This phone has two variants of internal memories: 16 and 32GB, which are unexpandable.
The Xperia Z is running on the Android Jelly Bean OS with 2GB of RAM. The iPhone 5C has 1GB of RAM and runs on the iOS 7 OS.
Cameras
The Xperia Z has a superior primary camera of 13.1MP (LED flash and autofocus) and also a better secondary camera – 2.2MP. The iPhone 5C has a 8MP primary camera with similar features, while the secondary camera is of 1.2MP.
Batteries
