GTA 5 Xbox One and PS4 Release Date Announced At E3?

Ubisoft released Watch Dogs simultaneously for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and new-generation consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Rockstar needs a way to catch up with its game, the GTA 5.

It seems that Rockstar found a real “competitor” out there. Ubisoft “borrowed” the open style gameplay of GTA V, but they added a few new things to their game. Watch Dogs, like GTA V, is an open-world action game, but in addition, it comes with a hacking element. This system allows the player to control the Chicago city though the mobile device.

Adding this new feature seems to work well for Ubisoft, since they sold more than 4 millions units of Watch Dogs across all platforms already. However, Rockstar sold over 33 million GTA 5 copies on Xbox 360 and PS3.

It is more likely that Rockstar will have to bring GTA 5 to the new-generation consoles and hopefully for Windows PC also, since they somehow “exhausted” all the income they could possibly get from GTA Online.

There are rumors that this is already happening, and GTA 5 is being developed for Xbox One and PS4 and we might get some more news about this at E3 2014, which will be held on June 10-12, in the Los Angeles Convention center.

Do you think that Rockstar will bring their epic game, GTA 5, to the new-generation consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4? Are you hoping to get this kind of news at E3?
