GoPro Hero 4 Vs Hero 3+ – Specs, Features and Price Comparison

The 3+ Black Edition comes with a maximum resolution of 12 MP, and a burst rate of 30 frames per second, which is more than the capabilities of the Silver and White versions, as these two do not have the 4K video recording capabilities.

The GoPro Hero 3+ packs in quite a punch with the Ambarella A7 chip. However, it is expected that the new GoPro Hero 4 should push the limits much more with the new Ambarella A0 SoC chip. GoPro 3+ as well as the GoPro 4 come with Wi Fi built in and a Wi Fi remote. The GoPro app in both the devices is also very user-friendly and quick. They are also very compact and can be easily mounted on your motorcycle or your helmets and only require a small flip lock for engaging, disengaging and accessing the camera.
