The GoPro Hero 3+ is a very rugged and mountable, but lightweight camera that can be used in any unusual location, such as cars and boats or planes. The GoPro Hero 3+ was announced in September last year. It was also claimed that the new camera, Hero 4 would come with capabilities of recording in 4K. It would have a resolution of 1080p and would record videos at 120 frames per second or at 720p resolution at a rate of 240 frames per second.

It has dimensions of 2.3 x 1.55 x 0.08 inches and weighs 28 g. The previous model, the GoPro 3+ had been criticized for its low battery life. There is no news regarding the battery life of the GoPro 4 as of now. The GoPro 3+ is smaller and also lighter when compared to the Hero and Hero 2.
