GoPro is an American corporation developing and marketing HD personal cameras, which are popularly used for high action video photographs. GoPro cameras are loved by professional photographers as well as by tourists all over the world. It can help you capture great video recordings with excellent quality, at just one-third of the price of a regular professional camera.

The GoPro Hero 3+ is a very rugged and mountable, but lightweight camera that can be used in any unusual location, such as cars and boats or planes. The GoPro Hero 3+ was announced in September last year. It was also claimed that the new camera, Hero 4 would come with capabilities of recording in 4K. It would have a resolution of 1080p and would record videos at 120 frames per second or at 720p resolution at a rate of 240 frames per second.

GoPro 3+ – Black Edition

The GoPro 3+ Black Edition is quite similar to its predecessor, the GoPro Hero 3, with several subtle changes. It is smaller and lighter than the Hero 2 and the GoPro original. It has dimensions of 2.3 x 1.55 x 0.08 inches and weighs 28 g. The previous model, the GoPro 3+ had been criticized for its low battery life. There is no news regarding the battery life of the GoPro 4 as of now. The GoPro 3+ is smaller and also lighter when compared to the Hero and Hero 2. The physical statistics are very similar to the GoPro Hero 3, but the 3+ comes in a smaller housing and has a streamlined lens cover with no bolts or slide locking mechanisms. The package of the 3+ is more compact and access is easier. The buttons are also slightly bigger. The GoPro 3+ also has an improved lens when compared with its predecessor. The 3+ Black Edition comes with a maximum resolution of 12 MP, and a burst rate of 30 frames per second, which is more than the capabilities of the Silver and White versions, as these two do not have the 4K video recording capabilities.

New Chip in GoPro Hero 4

The GoPro Hero 3+ packs in quite a punch with the Ambarella A7 chip. However, it is expected that the new GoPro Hero 4 should push the limits much more with the new Ambarella A0 SoC chip. If it makes use of this new chip, it is likely that there will be a lot of important upgrades to the camera. It would be great to have a 4K 30 frames per second camera, offered at a price of around $400, which is currently the price of the GoPro 3+ Black Edition. The Hero 3+ comes in two editions, the Black edition and the Silver edition, with the Silver edition being offered at around $300.

Unique Features of GoPro Hero 4

The GoPro Hero 4 is expected to have better quality than the Pro 3+. The specifications mentioned above are simply mind-blowing, even when you compare it with professional cameras. In addition to the 4K recording features mentioned above, the GoPro 4 will come with a multi exposure HDR and a WDR for tone mapping. It also has an EIS feature or an Electronic image stabilization feature. The MCTF is also enhanced and has advanced sharpening. The camera offers a playback feature along with a Remote viewfinder. You can also upload pictures or video to your social media profile through the device.
