The Book V from ASUS is a hybrid tablet, smartphone and a laptop Windows 8.1 convertible device. ASUS calls the device a three in one or Trinity machine or a five mode converged laptop. The Book V runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat OS and features Windows 8.1 version. It is a tablet combined with a smartphone. The device measures 12.5 inches and is powered by an Intel Core processor. It has an internal storage of 1 TB when you use it in the laptop mode. When you use it in the tablet mode, it offers storage of 128 GB. When used as a smartphone, the Book V offers a 5 inches LTE device. It runs on the quad-core Intel Atom processor. It is very simple to switch from one mode to the other.
Asus calls the Transformer Book V as the best five-mode laptop offering a three-in-one option. It features a combination of Windows and Android laptop as well as tablet along with an Android smartphone.
The five modes of the Transformer Book V are comprised of a laptop that has a screen of 12.5 inches. The screen is a detachable one. It can be separated and it becomes a tablet. The smartphone can dock into the tablet and offers a screen of 5 inches. All the modes of the devices offer an uncompromised experience to the user. The phone can be docked into the tablet and offers a speed that is 4 times faster when compared to 3G. One single physical or hardware button can be used for switching between the different operating systems, from the laptop to the tablet mode.
When used in the laptop mode, the ASUS Transformer Book V comprises a Qwerty keyboard that comes with a touchpad. It runs on the Windows 8.1 version as well as the Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The hardware button is a dedicated one for instantly switching between the two OS. An Intel Core processor powers the ASUS Transformer Book V laptop. The display screen in the laptop mode or the tablet mode is 12. 5” wide and the HD IPS technology is used. The storage offered is 1 TB. The laptop is convertible to a tablet and can work as a standalone tablet running on Windows 8.1 combined with Android 4.4 KitKat, when you dock the phone.
