Android 5.0 Release Date At Google I/O 2014

The upcoming Android 5.0 might be released very soon, since Google I/O’s event is only few days away. There are rumors and hints which suggest that Google is planning to release its new Android OS at the Google I/O event that will take place on June 25-26.

A screenshot posted by Google which shows the time, might hint the release of the new Android 5.0 OS.

Android Police released a “Quantum Paper”, which reveals some information about Google’s intention to create a redesigned OS called “Android L”.

As for the screenshot with the time, it seems that Google made a habit of pointing some time screenshots before releasing an Android OS. For example, before releasing the Android 4.3 we’ve noticed the hour: 4.30PM and before they released Android 4.4. KitKat we saw 4.40 o’clock PM. So, are we close to a new Android release? Probably yes!

The new screenshot was tweeted by Google, and it’s about a Nexus 5 which shows a time of 5.00PM.

Many people say that Android 4.5 will come but there is a high possibility it will not. Instead, a new upgraded version of Android 5.0 will be out, which has been rumored to be called Lollipop.

In concordance with Android Police, “Quantum Paper” is the name of Google’s design framework, which makes Google products act, look and interact as consistently as possible across platforms.

The new Android 5.0 will most likely come with a total new interface and it will be a good idea to release it at Google’s I/O 2014 event.
