Samsung Galaxy S4 vs Nokia Lumia 920 – Price and Specs Comparison

The Nokia Lumia 920 is the company’s greatest achievement because it comes with an improved Microsoft 8 operating system. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S4 has been praised for its fast processor and for its advanced camera. But we’ll see which smartphone has more to offer to their users.

The Nokia Lumia 920 is running on the Microsoft Windows Phone 8 o.s. (upgradeable to the WP8 Amber version), with 1 GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is an Android tha runs on the Jelly Bean o.s. with 2 GB of RAM.

Designs and Displays 

The Nokia Lumia 920 has a 4.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen, with a resolution of 768×1280 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy S4’s display is very large, which is a 5 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen that renders a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels.

The Nokia Lumia 920 weights 185 grams and measures: 130.3×70.8×10.7 mm, while the Samsung Galaxy S4 is weighting only 130 grams, although it’s big enough, measuring: 136.6×69.8×7.9 mm.

Cameras

The Nokia Lumia 920 has an 8 MP primary camera (Carl Zeiss optics + autofocus + optical image stabilization + dual LED flash) and a 1.3 MP secondary camera. The Samsung Galaxy S4 has an incredible primary camera of 13 MP (autofocus + LED flash) and a 2 MP secondary camera.

Batteries

You can talk for 10 hours on 3G/listen to music for 67 hours on the Nokia Lumia 920, which is equipped with a non-removable Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy S4’s battery (a Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery) allows you to talk on the phone for 17 hours on 3G, or to listen to music for 62 hours.

On amazon.com, the Nokia Lumia 920 costs around 290 dollars, while the Samsung Galaxy S4 16 GB variant can be bought at the price of 434 dollars and the 32 GB variant costs 515 dollars.
