Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Nokia Lumia 925 – Price and Specs Comparison

Display and Design

Nokia Lumia device is equipped with a 4.5inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen that renders a resolution of 768x1280pixels. The Samsung Galaxy S3 has a 4,8 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen that renders a resolution of 720x1280pixels.

Rigged up with 1,4GHz quad core cortex A9 processor and Exynos 4412 quad chipset, the Galaxy S3 has three variants of internal memory: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB that can be extended up to 64GB with a Micro SD card.

Running on Lumia 925 is the Microsoft Windows Phone 8 operating system that can be improved to the WP8 Black variant. It uses 1GB of RAM.
Galaxy S3 functions with the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system that can be updated to the Jelly Bean variant. It uses 1GB of RAM.

Camera

Both devices’ main camera brings to the table 8MP, auto-focus and LED flash (dual kind for Lumia). Lumia has an extra Carl Zeiss optics and optical image stabilization. Its second camera sports 1,3MP whereas Galaxy’s is 1,9MP.

Battery

Talking time with Lumia’s non-removable Li-lon 2000mAh battery is 12hours and 40minutes on 3 G. On Galaxy device talking time is only 11hours and 40 minutes on 3 G because it uses a Li-lon 2100mAh battery.

Nokia Lumia 925 is found at the price of 334,95 dollars and Samsung Galaxy S3 around 300 dollars.
