Due to some continuous reports, the Nexus 6 will not come in 2014. It might not come in 2015 either, since Google is focused on a project called Android Silver.
Android Silver will produce top Google mobile devices and it will be completed in 2015.
But, instead of the long waited Nexus 6, you might want to get the LG G3 or the Moto X+1, since both of them are expected to be released this year.
Here are some more details about these upcoming devices.
LG G3 will come with a 5.5inch QHD display which will render a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and will have a 2.5 Ghz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM. It will come with a 32GB internal memory and a microSD for extra memory. It will have a 13 MB rear camera with optical image stabilization and auto-focus. As for the operating system, it will come with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat and a powerful removable battery of 3200mAh.
LG G3 is supposed to be unveiled on May 27 and will probably be released in June 2014.
Because of the great features it comes with, the price of this device is expected to be between $500 and $600.
The new device that Motorola will bring to the market is Moto X+1.
There are rumors according to which Moto X+1 is the successor of the Moto X, the phone that Motorola released last year.
While Moto X came with a dual-core Motorola X8 computing system, 2GB RAM, a 4.7 inch display, a 10MB ClearPixel camera and the Android 4.4 KitKat OS, we expect from Moto X+1 to have at least a quad-core Snapdragon chip, a 5-inch screen with 1080p resolution and a 13MB camera. As for the operating system, it’s expected to run on the Android 4.5.
Moto X+1 will probably be released in August-September, since Motorola announced that this phone will come in “late summer” this year.
