Display and Design

Nexus 10 has a 10.1-inch Super PLS TFT capacitive touch screen that renders a resolution of 2560 x 1600pixels whereas the Nexus 7 has a 7.0-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touch screen that renders a resolution of 800x1280pixels.

At the weight of 603grams the Nexus 10 has the following dimensions: 263.9×177.6×8.9mm. The Nexus 7 device is weighing 340grams at the dimensions of 198.5x120x10.5mm.

Hardware and Operating System

Tooled up with a 1.7GHz dual core cortex A15 processor and Exynos 5250 chipset the Nexus 10’s internal memory has two versions of 16GB and 32GB that can’t be enhanced.
Rigged with a 1.2GHz quad core cortex A9 processor and Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset the Nexus 7 has 8GB and 16GB internal memory versions with no possibility of enhancement.
The two Nexus devices are running on the Android platform and are dotted with the Jelly Bean operating system that can be improved with the new KitKat version. The Nexus 7 uses 1GB of RAM and it’s “brother” Nexus 10 owns 2GB of RAM.

In batteries battle the Nexus 7 is better with its non-removable Li-lon 4325mAh battery because it permits multimedia playing for 10hours. On the other hand the Nexus 10 is equipped with a non-removable Li-Po 9000mAh battery that permits a multimedia playing time of 9hours.

Nexus 10 has a starting price of 348.37 dollars and Nexus 7 is around 204.67 dollars from Google version and 143.99 dollars from Asus variant.
