Minecraft Xbox One, PS3, PS4, PS Vita Editions Release Date

If you’re anxious to get your hands on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions of Minecraft, then you’ll probably see them in stores soon, after the PlayStation 3 version will be released in two days (May 16).

Owen Hill of Mojang, made this announcement in April, saying that the retail disc for Minecraft: PS3 “comes with all the features you’d expect from the console versions of Minecraft, along with everything that came with update 14, including emeralds, Ender Chests, potatoes, and more”, adding that 4J Studios “is working on bringing Minecraft to PS4 and PS Vita”.

Fans are very curious when will the Vita and PS4 versions will be released and one of them “dared” to ask Owen Hill this question.  In response, the Chief word officer assured him that 4J Studios will try to get the game ready by Q2 or Q3 of 2014.

Also, the team is currently working on allowing players to move their saved worlds from PS3 to the new Sony new generation consoles.

As you’ve already found out, the “new” Minecraft will have a bigger world, although it’s not infinite – the promise made by Hill before. The team is working hard to fulfill your desires, and soon, the wait will be worth it!
