For those of you who love Minecraft Xbox 360 edition and a fan of the Halo series, this is the best time to be.
Developers, 4J studios, have released the Title Update 16, which is one of the long awaited ones but, similar to the TU15 which got released a couple of weeks ago, this didn’t bring any new features at all. The focus is fully on fixing the annoying bugs and glitches. The development team has released an official release note which lists all the major bugs that have been fixed.
Most of these bugs were caused during the huge update TU14 after which 4J has been busy releasing back to back updates so as to ensure a smooth game play experience. Apart from that, they have also teased with some information on the Halo mash up pack which looks highly promising and will definitely be a hit among Halo fans. Recently, Microsoft has announced Halo 5, one of the most anticipated titles of all time for the Xbox One console. Its release date is set in 2015 but till then you will have the company of the Halo world in your Minecraft setting.
Halo Mashup Pack
Designed to recreate the Halo experience in the pixelated world of Minecraft Xbox 360, you can comfortably say that the team at 4J had done a good job with it. Some of the important characters from the universe can be spotted in the screenshot which was officially released on Twitter this week. The pack is referred to as the mash up pack because it has over 40 character skins to adorn, the original music track from the game and all the menus as well as user interfaces will be modified to resemble the Halo theme. The franchise mania doesn’t end here because players will have complete access to developer-designed maps and they will be surely inspired by the game settings.
The maps include Valhalla, Sand trap as well as Blood Gulch among many others. With so much stuff to look forward to, this is one of the best and complete mash up packs released by 4J so far. The fact that it is also going to be a console exclusive and will be available only on the Xbox 360 for now, makes it all the more exciting to watch out for. The developers have teased these images in their tweets but didn’t reveal an exact release date for the mash up pack yet. It won’t be long, we guess.
TU16 Fixes Plenty of Bugs
While TU15 fixed over 15 bugs, the new Title Update 1 for Minecraft Xbox 360 will be fixing much more than that. Some players faced issues like becoming invisible after they die and respawn which is one of the important fixes in the list. It also solves issues related to mobs dying in walls at times, invisibility issues after teleporting, tame wolves going berserk when player is not near, splitscreen damage decal issues among many others.
