Recently, 4J Studious said that they will focus more on launching the new version of MineCraft for Xbox One and PlayStation but that doesn’t mean they will stop focusing on the previous version of these consoles, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. They said that the new upcoming patch “Title Update 16” will be brought especially for some known issues. Anyway, they don’t have a date set yet for when this update will come.
We used to see new content addition on every patch, but now it seems that 4J Studios are focused more on getting bugs fixed, maybe because they are too busy working on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.
They previously revealed that the upcoming “Title Update 16” patch on Minecraft: PlayStation 3 edition will come with more texture packs, such as Candy Texture Pack and the Natural Texture Pack. For now that’s the only news we have for you from this upcoming patch.
Minecraft version for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 can be purchased from Xbox Live and Play Station 3 store. The Minecraft: Xbox 360 version can be also purchased from local stores while the PlayStation 3 version is expected to get its own physical release this month.
