Dubbed as one of the most popular video games ever created, Minecraft is a true phenomenon.
Inspiring thousands of indie developers, the block building game embraces your creativity and lets you build virtually anything. Currently available on various platforms, it comes as a no surprise that a Minecraft PS4 edition will soon hit the market. Although, one of the most anticipated titles to be released on the next-gen console, the developers have not yet announced its official release date. But what and when can we expect from the game once it hits the new console?
Gameplay
4J Studios do not intend to change the gameplay of the game for the next-gen console. Once Minecraft PS4 version hits the market you can expect the same gameplay you are probably already familiar with. Players will be given a free choice between survival and creative mode and you will still be able to enjoy mining and building anything to your heart’s desires. Whether you want to craft various tools or create unimaginable structures, the next-gen console of the game will let you do it.
Survival Mode
If you are not familiar with the gameplay of the game, you should know that the main gameplay mode in the Minecraft PS4 edition will be survival mode. In it you will have to gather your own resources and craft various tools in order to survive in the wilderness. With different levels of difficulty the game can either provide you with a more relaxing time or a true adventure. Having to mine your way throughout the endless world and collect every resource you need in order to survive may be fun, but it is not the only way you can play the game.
Creative Mode
If you truly want to get creative in the Minecraft PS4 version world, then creative mode is the choice for you. In it you will be able to enjoy endless resources, without having to worry about creatures and monsters killing you. Without any additional pressure, you will be able to let your imagination run wild and construct virtually anything that comes to your mind.
Multiplayer
Undoubtedly one of the best features of the Minecraft PS4 edition will be the multiplayer. Being virtually the same as the one that can be seen in previous console version of the game, it lets you share the experience with your friends or unknown strangers. This makes the block building game far more enjoyable as you are not bound to your own world, but can visit worlds created by others. Moreover, you are able to get together with a few of your friends and construct a world of your own.
The Minecraft PS4 version won’t be different from any other version, except for a few tweaks. With the next-gen hardware power, you will be able to see further in the game. However, to keep the original feel of the game, the graphics and the gameplay will stay the same. A release date for the Minecraft PS4 edition hasn’t been officially announced, but the game is expected to hit the market later this year.
