LG Nexus 4 vs HTC One – Price and Specs Comparison

Users love the Nexus 4 because it takes clear and animated pictures, its camera being considered a lot better than Galaxy Nexus’s camera. Designs and displays

Both smartphones come with a 1.7 inch display, only that LG Nexus 4 has a True HD IPS Plus capacitive touch screen which renders a resolution of 768×1280 pixels, while the HTC One is equipped with a Super LCD3 capacitive touch screen that supports a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels.

The LG Nexus 4 is weighting 139 grams and measures 133.9×68.7×9.1 mm, while the HTC One is weighting 4 grams more, but it’s slightly bigger, having these dimensions: 137.4×68.2×9.3 mm.

Hardware and operating systems

The LG Nexus 4 is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad core Krait processor, but the device has also a Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon chipset. There are two variants of internal memories: 8 GB and 16 GB which can’t be expanded, unfortunately.

On the other hand, the HTC One has a more powerful processor, which is a 1.7 GHz quad core Krait 300 processor, the device coming also with a Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 chipset. This smartphones comes with two unexpandable variants of internal storage of 32 GB and 64 GB.

Both smartphones are Androids, but the LG Nexus 4 is running on the 4.2 Jelly Bean version (upgradeable to the 4.3 version) with 2 GB of RAM, while the HTC One runs on the 4.1.2 Jelly Bean version (upgradeable to the 4.3 version) with 2GB of RAM.

Cameras

The LG Nexus 4 has an 8 MP primary camera (auto focus + LED flash). The secondary camera on the device is 1.3 MP. The HTC One is equipped with a 4 MP primary camera and a 2.1 MP secondary camera.

Batteries

You can talk 15 hours on 3G on the LG Nexus 4, which is equipped with a non-removable Li-Po battery that has a capacity of 2100 mAh. The HTC One has a more powerful non-removable Li-Po battery with capacity of 2300 mAh which allows you to talk 18 hours on 3G, with your friends.

If you are looking to buy the LG Nexus 4 8 GB variant, you can find it on amazon.com at the price of 300 dollars. On the same website, the HTC One 4G LTE 32 GB variant costs 445 dollars, which is a lot more expensive than the Nexus 4.
