iPhone 6 has not yet been released, so the images below may or may not be reality. Given the rather expensive process to change the design of a product, and that this design depend on thousands of manufacturers accessories, cases and pouches, it is unlikely that the device is different from the one shown below.
As can be seen from these photos, the diagonal screen is not much bigger than the current one from iPhone 5S, only 0.2 inches in addition, but the resolution is brought close to the current standard of a smartphone, namely 1704 × 960 pixels, a atypical resolution that is 1.5 times higher than the one from iPhone 5S, 1136 × 640 pixels. The dimensions of the iPhone 6 will be approximately 137 x 66 x 7 mm, significantly thinner than the peaks of the range from Android.
Trying to create a phone as thin as possible, Apple could abandon the optical stabilization system used on iPhone 5S and could opt for a camera with electronic stabilization function for the new iPhone 6. The new smartphone will hit the market with the new iOS 8. Other rumors about iPhone 6 mentions however the existence of a NFC chip for mobile payments and presence of Touch ID, the current security system with fingerprint from iPhone 5S.
