Google Nexus 10 vs LG G Pad 8.3 – Best Prices and Specs Comparison

The tablet market has been clearly enriched in the last years, and consumers can choose from a wide range of products. The Google Nexus 10 is an impressive tablet, very comfortable to hold in hands, and perfect for watching movies. The LG G Pad 8.3 is a combination between the Nexus 7 and the iPad mini, which offers an average battery life and a decent screen. But which one of these tablets is better?

LG G Pad 8.3 comes with a large body frame, a 126.5 mm width and a resolution of 1,920×1,200 pixels, having a pixel density of 273 ppi, a lot higher that iPad’s pixel density. The LG G’s display is a LCD IPS and gives a color temperature of 6,588 Kelvin.

In terms of hardware, the tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz, it has a battery with a capacity of 4,600 mAh, it’s equipped with 2 GB of RAM, has an internal storage of 64 GB RAM (but it can be expanded) and it runs on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

The device’s back is made of aluminum, looking a lot like the iPad Mini and it has keys that can be “clicked” comfortably. The tablet comes with wired data connection and it’s charged via micro USB.

Google Nexus 10 has a 10.1-inch screen, being manufactured by Asus. It’s more advanced than the previous version, coming with premium features. It runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it’s equipped with a Snapdragon chipset and its display supports a resolution of 2,560×1,600 pixels.

On amazon.com, the LG G Pad 8.3 costs 260 dollars, while the Nexus 10 can be found at the price of 333 dollars.
