Clash of Clans New Update – You Can Now Have More Fun with Clan Wars

The Clan Wars update on Clash of Clans received huge success, and now Supercell has decided to improve on the update to bring you a lot more fun.

This is what all users had been waiting for. The update aims to introduce and improve a number of features to the Clan Wars. This is all being done to improve the overall user experience of one of the most successful introductions to the game. Here is what you can now look forward to.

War Base Edit

There are some major changes to the war base mode. You will now be able to keep a completely separate layout for your base. It will now be a completely separate entity and you would not have to change anything on your own village. You will also only be able to access the War Base Edit option only on the preparation day. You will be able to select the option from the Clan War map. You can make edits on the preparation day, and all edits will be locked during the actual battle day. Your War base will get all your updates from the village automatically. However, if you want to place any new buildings, you have to go to your war base layout.

Improved Features

You will now be able to dismiss any of the donated troops if you feel they do not meet your requirements. You can dismiss them directly from your Clan Castle on your war base. If a leader or a co-leader starts clan war matchmaking, you will be able to see it on the clan chat wall. Bases on a war map will now be numbered, so that you are able to find or locate them more easily. If you were tired of seeing the ‘!’ notifications on the war button in every one of your sessions, you can breathe a sigh of relief. The notification will now appear only once during each war, and that too only at the time of preparation.

Improvements on Interface

The game interface has some minor improvements and adjustments. The game settings now support Russian as a new language. Supercell also fixed a display bug in the spell factory capacity when you are scouting in a war. If matchmaking for a Clan War fails to find an appropriate opponent, you will be notified in your chat window. Supercell has also decreased the Town Hall requirements from level 4 to level 3 for you to be able to edit your village.

Stat Improvements

You will now get an all-new War Stats tab with many new statistics. You will be able to find all the statistics under the blue button for starting wars. This menu will be available once the battle day begins. War stats will also keep the record of the replays of most of your heroic victories and defenses. Instead of general clan stats, you can now see war related stats. You will also be able to get quick war stats including total war attacks, war stars, and defense information. War stars won by each member will also be displayed in the information pages.
