Maintain Your Dark Elixir Bank

If you were a newbie in the game, you would not know much about the Dark Elixir. This is because the Dark Elixir becomes available for harvesting much later in the game. Dark Elixir Troops can be created using the Dark Elixir Barracks, but to create the troops, you first have to harvest the right amount of Dark Elixir. Farming this elixir is very difficult and it takes a long time to have enough to create your Dark Elixir Troops. Therefore, make sure that you save up as much as you can and protect it with all your defenses. Since Dark Elixir Troops are much faster and deadlier than your other troops, you should attempt to have as many of them on your board as possible.

Spot Abandoned Villages

Clash of Clans is a tireless game, and you can keep playing it anytime you want. It does not have a limit or an end. Therefore, many people simply give up and quit, leaving behind perfectly formed villages, which continue to function and are ideal for farming. Spot such villages and keep farming them to increase your stores. You can spot one by looking for many tombstones, absences of a league badge, sleeping builders, and a gold mine that has a full gold bin. Any of these signs could indicate an abandoned village, and you should waste no time in farming it to fill up your own stores. Abandoned villages are much easier to farm, and you would not have to spend a lot of your our offenses to make your collections.

Save Your Resources

One important thing that many people do not understand is that there is a difference between storing your resources in a collector and storing them in your storage. The resources that are still available in the collectors or mines are usually more susceptible to plundering. 50% of the resources stored in the collectors can be plundered during a raid, as compared to 20% of the resources in the storage. So always, transfer your resources from storage to collectors every time you log in. This will help you protect many of your resources. Understand that every time you move your resources from your collectors to your storage, you are greatly increasing its safety, and ensuring that there is less to fall in the hands of your enemies.
