Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs Apple iPhone 6 – An Early Confrontation

Both the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Apple iPhone 6 will be released later in 2014, with the expected date around September.

Everybody hopes that some of the latest rumors and leaks are true where it concerns two of the most anticipated flagships. Apple and Samsung promises something innovating and new to the market and both are expected to be outstanding. The Galaxy Note will have amazing display, cool features such as handwriting recognition, dust, and waterproof and great battery life. Apple is obviously geared to take first place and promises to be an improvement of its predecessor, the iPhone 5.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Samsung never lets consumers down and it is not expected with the Note 4 either, and expected is a 3.500 mAh battery and Snapdragon 805 SoC with CAT6 capabilities. 3 GB RAM and speed of 2.4 GHz combined with Wacom digitizer and the S-Pen Stylus and shipping with Android 4.4.2 KitKat is the latest rumors. Display will be 5.6-inch 2560 x 1440 SUPER AMOLED display and 500 PPI pixel density. Furthermore has Samsung promised a new Audio chip on the Note 4, regardless whether it comes with down-firing or front-firing speakers. It is also rumored that it will feature handwriting recognition, but will be different to that of the Galaxy Note 2 and Note 3. Also rumoured is a three-sided display, however it seem to imagine, but Samsung apparently use its flexible OLED technology to achieve this.

Apple iPhone 6

The internet is flooded with rumors and leaks as to what the iPhone 6 will be like, but certainly, it will be an upgrade on the iPhone 5, which is remarkable and very much in demand. Where screen size is concerned, the IPhone 6 will be bigger than its predecessor and estimated at 5.5 inches and a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and pixel density of 401 ppi. It is rumored that it will have an A8 chipset, 64-bit processor, and increased RAM specification up to 3 GB. Upgrading from iPhone 5, the iPhone 6 is expected to run IOS 8 and house a 10-megapixel camera. An improved battery is not a promise or guarantee, more like a serious expectation on behalf of Apple fans. I hope that Apple manufacturers read this!

Conclusion

The iPhone 6 will surpass the iPhone 5S by far, with better battery life, better camera, increased RAM specification and running IOS 8. Now with what everybody knows about these two manufacturers, there is an obvious conclusion. Regardless of Appleís improvements, Samsung will seriously attempt and probably surpass Apple by their upgrades. The Galaxy Note 4 will have better battery, better display, best sound quality, very attractive and new features, and being waterproof, which is a bonus. Prices are only estimated for now, but if you take into consideration the Note 3 price of $600-$700, we assume to add another $100 for the Note 4. The iPhone 6 might be priced lower at $650 or more, but again that is just estimated calculation when comparing it to the iPhone 5. Everyone assumes for now that the Samsung will be more expensive, but if the quality is as expected it will be a bargain. Regardless, we expect the Galaxy Note 4 to be a worthy competitor for the Apple iPhone 6.
