The Clan Wars update on Supercell’s Clash of Clans is a much anticipated update.
Players from all around the world have been preparing to get into battle with this game. The wars allow clans to fight against other clans in a designated war zone, where the strength of the clans is determined by the individual strength of players. The wars last for two days – with a preparation day and a battle day. To ace your war, it is important that you understand the significance of both these days.
Day 1 – Preparation Day
The first day of the battle is known as preparation day in this game. This is an exciting time, as it gives a whole day to clan to get their troops ready and march forward into the batter. The preparation phase lasts for a whole 24 hours and it allows you to perform various actions that go towards the preparation for the impending battle. During this day, you can prepare your defenses. Players pool their resources and set up their defenses. You can quickly upgrade your defenses using the 1 gem boost. This is a special boost in which all your preparations can be fast tracked using only a single gem. You will also be able to access the list of players on the enemy clan. You can study them and gather information about their strengths so that you can make better plans for the attack. Since this is the first phase of the war, no player can attack players from the other clan. There are only three activities on this day, and you should take them seriously.
Rearranging Your War Base
The first activity you perform on the preparation day is rearranging your war base. This is where you will be able to set up your defenses on your war base and create your defense strategy. It is important for you to create the perfect defense because that will really be useful for you when the attack actually happens. The quicker you build your war base, the easier it will be for you to defend it in the war. The better you defend your base, the more likely you are to win.
Donating Reinforcements
Clan Wars can only happen if there is optimum participation from all the clan members. To make their clan stronger, members will have to donate troops. Each member is allowed to donate a specified number of troops to the clan and the clan members. This increases the strength of the Clan and the individual members as well. The more formidable the army, the better are the chances for winning in this war.
Scouting Enemy War Bases
A war base is generated automatically, when you declare a war. The war base matches your village layout so you can rearrange your village to rearrange your war base. However, once the preparation day has ended, your war base cannot be further changed or rearranged. The clan castle has to be filled in separately and you will be given access to your enemy’s war base. You can scout it and plan your strategy accordingly. All of this would happen on the preparation day.
