The Xperia Z1 is equipped with Snapdragon 800 chip having a quad core processor with 2.2 GHz clock frequency and a discrete GPU named Adreno 330. An A6 processor powers the iPhone 5C. The A6 processor fitted in iPhone 5C is a dual core processor with 1.3GHz clock rate. The Xperia Z1 runs Jelly Bean OS that can be upgraded to latest KitKat OS. The iPhone 5C runs latest iOS 7 operating system.

Xperia Z1 is equipped with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage space. You can extend the storage space by 64GB through use of microSD card. iPhone 5C has two models; each having different storage capacity such as 16GB and 32GB. The iPhone does not have any microSD card slot to add storage space.

Xperia Z1 is fitted with battery rated 3000 mAh that can provide talk time of approx 14 hours on 2G networks and 15 hours talk time on 3G networks. The iPhone 5C features a li-ion battery that offers talk time of 10 hours on 3G networks.

The price of Xperia Z1 is around $549. The price of iPhone 5C differs with each model. The 16GB model of iPhone 5C is available at $99 while the 32GB model can be purchased at $199 from leading carriers.
