Minecraft Xbox One Release Date and New Screenshots

Some new screenshots of the Minecraft Xbox One Edition have been released. Minecraft Xbox One and PlayStation version are scheduled to be released in August 2014.

In order to make the fans more excited than they already are, 4J Studios released a few new screenshots of the Minecraft: Xbox One version.

The upcoming Minecraft for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will have a taller build limit. With other words, the players will be able to create buildings higher than ever. As for the graphics, it seems that Minecraft on the new generation consoles will feature some improved draw distances. 4J Studious also added that the worlds will be 36 times bigger than they are right now on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Players who will want to “transfer” their world into the new version of the game and they’ll have the option to “save” the world and import it to the new generation consoles. It seems that the game will automatically “resize” the old world to accommodate with the larger maps of the new version.

Air Herald website said that the Minecraft Xbox One version will most likely come with old achievements and with new ones also.

Minecraft Xbox One and PlayStation 4 editions are expected to come somewhere in August, but no specific date was pointed out yet. Aside from the new generation consoles versions, Minecraft will come for PS Vita also.

As for the price, the players who already have the game for the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will have the option to upgrade to the new generation consoles versions for only 4.99 dollars. However, the full price will be 19.99 dollars for the players who don’t have the previous version of the game.
